The Rules

These are in no order, just as i think of them.

General

• This site is open for everyone, beginners and intermediate role players.
  
• This site had mature content, enter at your own risk.
  
• Because of the mature content, we will not accept anyone under the age of 13.
  
• Please don't sign up unless you are going to be active. I will be doing monthly activity checks.
  
• If you are going to be inactive for any reason tell me in absentees or you risk losing your account.
  
• TYFS is set in England. At the fall of the Roman empire, no fancy technical stuff, no trousers for the ladies.
  
• These villages are not real. They are based on the outlines of real villages from this time period.
  
• Be respectful to other members and administrators.
  
• Racism and sexist comments are not allowed in or our of character.
  
• If you have a problem with a member, tell the staff don't argue it yourself.
  
• Swear all you like.
  
• Please don't harass the administrators. If we want your help we'll ask.
  
• Stretch the page and i will spork you =]

Role playing

• Grammar. Capital letters and full stops please.
  
• Spelling. There's a spell check for a reason. Use it!
  
• Please no text language in character. I have no objects when out of character but not when in.
  
• Role play in third person. This is what i do not want to see.
  
  I walked into a room and looked around. I saw someone in the corner. I walked over to them.
  
  This is what is acceptable on this site
  
  Lily walked into the empty room. She glanced around hoping to see someone and thankfully she did, sat in the far left corner. She grinned and moved over toward them.
  
  See how much nicer that is? If you're still unsure on whats good role playing and what isn't feel free to personal message me and i will help where i can.
  
• No God moding! For those who are new to role play and don't know what it is thats when you control another character. For example.
  
  Lily punched James. It smacked him hard in the mouth and he fell back spitting out his own blood. << God moding!
  
  What would be acceptable for that would be
  
  Lily clenched her fist and in one quick moment lunched toward James, throwing a hard punch toward him. << Not God moding.
  
  Once again, mail me if you need more information.
  
• Posts must be at least 2 paragraphs.
  
• No one liners, they are horrible to post back to.
  
• If you want to reserve a thread for a member thats fine, just put their name in the title. Or put closed in the title and pm the member you would like to role play with.
  
• A thread will be thought to be open if it doesn't have a characters name or closed in the title.
  
• Refrain from double posting. It looks tacky and horrible. Only do it if a thread has been dead for a week or more without reason.
  
• When a thread is finished please add finished to the title or personal message myself so i can move the thread to the thread bank.
